Jamie Redknapp melts hearts as his young son puts on his first kit after Liverpool win

The proud father of three was in a celebratory mood following Liverpool’s success in the Carabao Cup and was eager to bring his young son, Raphael, to join the celebrations

Jamie Redknapp shares video of baby Raphael and Harry Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp moved fans by sharing a photo of his three-month-old son wearing a Liverpool shirt.

The 48-year-old former Liverpool player welcomed his third son last November – just a month after marrying Swedish model Frida Andersson.

Liverpool fans celebrated over the weekend as the team won the Carabao Cup after a penalty shootout against rivals Chelsea.

And Jamie was clearly keen to invite the youngest member of the family, baby Raphael, to join the celebrations as he dressed him up in the team’s iconic red soccer jersey.

On Instagram on Monday morning, Jamie shared a snap of her pet son sitting on the ribbon and added the caption: “Reds fans around the world are waking up like this… #ynwa .”

This photo has been a huge hit with fans and followers alike – with one saying in the post’s comments: “So adorable.”

While another joked: “Good morning, he’s probably thinking about noisy things, I know we’ll win, bless him.”

Jamie – who also shares 17-year-old son Charles and 13-year-old son Beau with ex-wife Louise Redknapp, 47, with whom he split in 2017 – regularly entertains fans with updates related to his young son.

Earlier this month, he shared a video documenting Raphael being cared for by football legend and Jamie’s father, Harry Redknapp, 75.

Harry is seen wearing a blue shirt and a navy cardigan, while his nephew wears a gray cardigan.

Visualizing what his son might be thinking in the moment, Jamie wrote alongside the clip: “What do you mean people say we look like twins? I don’t look like twins? whatever you do.”

And in another recent photo, Jamie shared a snap of Raphael and Harry together – claiming the pair look like “twins”.

The snap also features Jamie’s mother Sandra, who beams as she smiles as the two boys bond.

Meanwhile, Harry recently teased fans that he’ll be sharing the secrets of a successful relationship in a new book coming out.

The former player has been married to his wife Sandra, 74, since 1967.

Along with a photo of the couple on their wedding day, Harry said on social media recently: “Sandra and I are delighted to reveal that we will be releasing a book together this year.”

And the former West Ham United boss has teased the title of the upcoming book, revealing that When Harry Met Sandra will be up for sale for fans to buy in the fall.
