Jamie T announces release date for new album and first live show in five years

Jamie T has announced the release date of his new album as well as his first live show in five years.

His latest offering, titled The Theory Of Whatever, will be out on July 29, the artist shared on social media.

The Wimbledon singer-songwriter also released his new single The Old Style Raiders.

The live show takes place on May 11th at the Subterania venue in Ladbroke Grove, west London.

Tickets are available exclusively to those who pre-order the new album by Thursday 5pm.

“My new album The Theory of Whatever is out July 29th and I’m playing my first live show in five years in London at @subteraniavenue next week,” Jamie T tweeted.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1 about his return, he said: “I’ve missed being in a room with people and playing music, yeah, totally.

“I miss being with people and dripping sweat from the ceiling.”

He added: “I like to bury my head in the sand with this because I get pretty anxious about this stuff.

“My way of doing it these days is that people just tell me where to go and what to do, and I do it that day because when I have time to think about it, I worry… and then I just end up being anxious mess.”
