Janette Manrara has broken her silence following news that her husband Aljaž Škorjanec has quit the Dance Come Dancing show – less than a year after her own passing.
This morning it was announced that Aljaž, 32, has decided to leave the hit BBC show – with him appearing as a professional dancer for the past nine years.
He teased in a statement on social media that he has “a lot of exciting things planned for the future, after leaving Serious – the company he joined in 2013.
The news has garnered much attention, with his wife, Janette, 38 – whom he met on the show – now responding to the previous Instagram announcement.

Along with a photo of her husband, whom she has been married to since 2017, she wrote: “I cannot express the sadness in my heart when I see [Aljaž] say goodbye to Nghiem. “
However, she said that at the same time there was “a lot of joy” in her heart for what he brought to the show – which he won with model Abbey Clancy, 36, in two thousand and thirteen.
Janette continued: “I’ve admired him from the day I met him for his passion for dance but more than anything for his kindness towards anyone he meets.”

She said that as his wife and best friend, she “couldn’t be happier to know that he laughed a lot” throughout the show – both viewers and those behind the scenes. school.

The professional dancer said she knows that the center of his efforts will be “kindness and love for whatever he does”, she then thanked fans for their support. he.
