COMEDY fans are treated to an evening of entertainment when Jason Manford brings his stand-up tour to Brighton.
The comedian will perform with Like Me at the Brighton Center on October 22.
Jason kicked off the tour in September 2021 and will have played more than 200 shows across the country by November.
The 41-year-old admits he was nervous as he started warming up for his tour.
He explained: “It’s very strange to be nervous again.
“Of course you get nervous energy, but actually saying ‘Can I still do that?’ is something I haven’t had in a long time.
“So to be back on stage and for it to be doing so well is really satisfying and really fun.”
Audiences can expect to hear about his own lockdown experiences, as well as his beginnings as a comedian, the importance of laughter and more.
Jason said: “I’ve written a lot during lockdown, so much of it is about the times we’re going through, but you invariably start with specific topics – like talking about the vaccine – and end on a different tangent.
“They’re really just jump points.”
His last tour of the country was in the musical Curtains, which had to be cut by a month due to lockdown.
He has also done a variety of stage musicals including The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Guys and Dolls.
Tickets for the Brighton show are on sale now.
