Affleck’s supposed Batman return certainly raises a lot of questions. How will he be integrated into the plot? Will he wear a cowboy shirt and fight some sea creatures? Unfortunately, these questions are just two of many that probably won’t be answered until “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is released next year. Besides, we don’t even have a clear idea of what the movie is about. However, it is more likely that the Batman seen in the photos Momoa posted won’t dive into the ocean unless he wants to damage that suit.
The appearance also raises a question regarding the DCEU’s most controversial film in production, “The Flash”. Affleck has been attached to Andy Muschietti’s long-running film, which has once again been hit by a series of accusations against Flash actor Ezra Miller. Since it’s clear that Affleck’s scenes were made during a rerun on “Aquaman” since production officially ended in January, there’s likely been a cameo adaptation, featuring the DCEU’s Batman appeared in another movie. However, he was still able to appear in both films, as Warner Bros. There are no plans to release “The Flash” yet.
Okay, but enough about all that. Look how happy Momoa and Affleck look in that last photo! I’m happy for them, and I hope you are too. “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” released on March 17, 2023.
