Jenny recently revealed that she The brain tumor returned after she had her previous tumor removed in 2011.
A recent scan showed some swollen tissue signaling tumor growth.
However, Jenny assured fans and friends that it wasn’t melanoma that she would have surgery to remove.
She wrote: “Hello everyone. So I have some news… Not the best news but not the worst either.
“Some of you already know that I had a successful brain tumor removal surgery in 2011 by an incredible person, Professor Ciaran Bolger at Beaumont Hospital.
“Unfortunately, after a recent brain scan, there seems to be new activity.
“This means there is some ‘swollen tissue’ that could be the tumor growing back.
“The good news is that it’s not malignant and Professor Bolger will need to do some brain surgery to remove it.”
Today, the photographer revealed that she is going to Beaumont to prepare for her upcoming surgery.
She captioned a snapshot of her doctor’s office door saying, “And so my preparations for surgery in two weeks will begin #FeelingPositive.”
After the date, Jenny spoke to her followers on her Instagram story as she thanked her followers for their kind messages.
She said: “Thank you so much for all your lovely messages.
“Yeah, I’ve come to finish all my bits and bob pre-op, with my blood and my electrocardiogram and all that.
“So at least that’s done now and I won’t have to go to Beaumont hospital for another two weeks when I come in and have the surgery.
“And then I’ll be on anything for up to seven days and after that, I’ve got to take six weeks off and then I’ll be back.
“Anyway, in the meantime, I’ll be working like crazy until the end of January.”
