Now, after a radio spell, Jeremy insists he’s happy to be back in the TV presenter’s chair, saying “it’s like a drug”.
The announcement comes after his successful guest appearance on the newly formed TV channel.

His new show will air on weeknights and will cover a variety of stories, from breaking news to current affairs.
The presenter went on to joke: “I thought about a big TV workout regimen, back to the gym, personal trainer, extreme diet, but then I saw Tyson Fury became the heavyweight world champion with a dad, so I think I’ll manage.
“I like walking a bit, but not in the direction of the gym if I can avoid it. Really, I don’t care if I’m not a good athlete as long as we make a great TV show. “
The dad-of-five joke comes after host Piers Morgan spoke to the world’s heavyweight boxing champion for the channel earlier this week.
In candid conversation, The Gypsy King, 33, shared with the 57-year-old the need for “private time” following his hugely successful career in sports.
He announced his retirement from the sport after his sixth-round knockout match against Dillian Whyte on Saturday and told Piers: “It’s not worth it” to continue in the ring.
The father-of-six said: “I have a family to raise. I have four young children to raise and two grown-ups. I’ve been on the road for the past ten years, traveling the world for boxing.

He added: “The fans will always want more. They’re always working to get more blood, but at the end of the day, I have nothing left to give.
“I gave everything I had. Every good dog has a day in the sun and my time is in the high. I always say, I want to walk at the top of the sport. sports and do it conditionally.”
