Jeremy Renner Still Criticized When Friend Mark Ruffalo Asks Fans To Send A Prayer

Mark Ruffalo has asked fans to send their prayers to Jeremy Renner, who is in intensive care following a snow-related accident.

enner, who played Hawkeye in several Marvel movies, was injured at home on New Year’s Eve while trying to clear the snow around his Nevada property.

According to US reports, Renner accidentally ran over one of his legs, resulting in blood loss. The actor got immediate help from two of his neighbors, one of whom was a doctor who bandaged his injured limb.

Ruffalo, who co-starred with Renner in Avengers as Hulk, shared a public message to his co-star and friend on social media on Monday.

“Praying for our brother @jeremyrenner for a full and speedy recovery,” he wrote, alongside a news release about Renner’s crash. “Please send good healing his way.”

Since news of Renner’s injury went viral, celebrities and fellow friends have been sharing good and positive wishes.

“My heart goes out to Jeremy Renner,” filmmaker James Gunn tweeted, alongside a praying hand emoji.

“My God,” frozen star Josh Gad added: “Prayers for Jeremy Renner and his family.”

The actor’s family on Monday confirmed that he was in a “critical but stable condition”.

“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered chest trauma and orthopedic trauma and underwent surgery today (January 2),” Renner’s family said in a statement.

“He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in a critical but stable condition.”
