Jeremy Renner thanks ICU staff while recovering from snow excavator accident

Jeremy Renner thanked the staff at his intensive care unit for “starting this journey,” as he continues to recover from a serious snow plow accident.
The Marvel actor shared a photo from his hospital, staff and family members on his Instagram story on Friday, a day before his 52nd birthday. .
“Thanks to the Renowned Medical ICU team for starting this journey,” he wrote.
The actor, known for playing the bow-wielding Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), was admitted to the hospital following an incident over the weekend.
Local police said the actor was helping a family member free a car from heavy snow when he was accidentally run over by his own 6-ton plow.
He was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after suffering “thoracic and orthopedic trauma” in a crash, a statement provided to the PA news agency, from his agent , said.
The incident happened near the Mount Rose Expressway, which connects Lake Tahoe and southern Reno, which straddles the Nevada-California border.
Friday’s post is the latest in a series of updates Renner has shared about his progress while in the hospital.

One of his family members was seen in the clip giving him a head massage.
Shortly after the incident, Renner posted a photo of himself in his hospital bed, thanking fans for their support, but said he was “too messed up to type”.
Lots of famous faces, including his Marvel stars, have praised the actor for his bravery and sent well-wishes in the aftermath.
