Jerry Seinfeld pays tribute to ‘TV mom’ Liz Sheridan after her death at 93

Jerry Seinfeld has paid tribute to ‘TV’s nicest mom’ Liz Sheridan, who has died aged 93.
The US comedian, who starred alongside Sheridan in his sitcom Seinfeld, said he was lucky to have known the actress.
Sheridan died in her sleep of natural causes, five days after her April 10th birthday, her friend and longtime representative Amanda Hendon.

She played Helen in the popular comedy Seinfeld’s doting mother.
“Liz has always been the sweetest, kindest TV mom a son could ask for,” Seinfeld wrote on Twitter, sharing a picture of the couple.
“Every time she came to our show, it was the most comfortable feeling for me.
“So lucky to have known her.”
In addition to her famous role in Seinfeld, Sheridan also had a successful stage career.
She appeared in plays and musicals on Broadway in the 1970s, including Happy Endings with Meryl Streep and Ballroom.
