Jesy Nelson is said to have turned down the opportunity to appear in Kate Garraway’s Life Story, choosing instead to focus entirely on her music career ahead of her debut album.
The singer, 30, has been working on her upcoming album for the past few months and traveled across the states earlier this year to spend some time recording.
Fans are waiting for new music following the release of her debut solo single, Boyz, last year – released about a year after she left the Little Mix group.
Having been a member of one of the biggest girl bands in the world for nearly a decade, it’s no surprise that Jesy – like her former bandmates – has drawn attention to life. her personal.

She is said to have been approached to appear on the Life Stories talk show for the first series hosted by Kate, 54, who took over from Piers Morgan, 56, last year.
It was reported that Jesy was contacted by ITV bosses after the release of her debut single but left them “guts down by turning down” the opportunity, according to the Sun.
Recently, a source told the paper that she is “one of the top ones” that producers hope to sign up for the new series – which aired for a few weeks last month.
The source said: “They were really trying to make it work but Jesy and her team decided the timing wasn’t right.” It is assumed that the reason is that she is focusing on music right now.
It has been suggested that getting involved would be a distraction, with the source saying: “Bringing attention back to her personal life would seem like a step backwards.”
The first series of Kate Garraway’s Life Story saw former soccer player John Barnes, chef Nadiya Hussain and singer Charlotte Church candidly discuss their lives and careers.
