Bargain hunters looking for cheap holidays should check out Jet2’s latest offering as the travel giant is currently offering holidays from 1pm.
Yes, you read it right; You can book a week-long holiday in Tenerife, Crete and Gran Canaria from just 1pm.
Jet2holidays ‘Bid for a Break’ is back where you can essentially bid the lowest amount you’re willing to pay for a vacation. There is a catch, however; Only the lowest single bid wins the trip.
Last year, 23 holidaymakers won short breaks to the Canary Islands, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal and Turkey, with some bids starting from as little as 14 cents.

Different holidays are released on different days. Currently you can bid for a break in Bulgaria from May 16th, Crete from May 23rd and Gran Canaria from May 30th.
Oh, and did we mention there’s a mix of options for couples and families of four?
Placing your bid is very simple:
- Download the Jet2holidays app
- Go to the Offers page.
- Select “Bid for a break”.
- Fill out the form with your contact details
- Add your lowest single bid to the nearest cent
Visit jet2holidays.com/bid-for-a-break to find out more about the holidays and full terms and conditions.
Don’t get discouraged if you don’t win.

First off there is a silver lining for all participants as unsuccessful bidders will still receive a special discount code giving them £60 off their next holiday.
If the holidays aren’t quite for you, you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy a sunny getaway.
While there may not be many holidays you can book for pennies, the good news is that there are plenty of other brilliant holiday deals and cheap flights so you can enjoy the sun without breaking the bank.

It’s worth noting that travel restrictions are still in place due to the pandemic. For example, if you want to visit Tenerife and Gran Canaria, adults must be vaccinated, while unvaccinated children aged 12-17 need a PCR test to gain entry.
Entry requirements can change rapidly during the pandemic, so always check the latest Foreign Office travel advice for a destination before booking a trip or going abroad as this contains important information from entry requirements to local Covid rules, you need to know.
