Jim Carrey and Squid Game star Jung Ho-Yeon join The Weeknd in a newly released music video for his song Out Of Time.
The award-winning Korean actress sings karaoke with the R&B superstar while the comedian has a cameo as a creepy surgeon.
Out Of Time is included on The Weeknd’s latest album, Dawn FM, which was released in January and features collaborators Tyler the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones and Carrey.
In the video, the singer meets Ho-Yeon in a hotel elevator and later has a drink with her while the two sing the words of the song to each other in a karaoke bar.
They happily run through the hotel’s lobby together and are seen walking down a corridor before the song takes a darker turn.
Carrey’s voice, also heard on the recording of the album, is heard: “Don’t you dare touch that dial.
“Because, as the song says, time is up. You’re almost there, but don’t panic.
“More music needs to come before you fully immerse yourself in the blissful embrace of that little light you see in the distance.
“Soon you will be healed, forgiven and refreshed, free from all trauma, pain, guilt and shame. You may even forget your own name.”
The comedian’s face then emerges through a magnifying glass while The Weeknd is given a younger face.
The Weeknd tweeted after the video’s release, thanking Carrey and Ho-Yeon and saying the project was a “dream collaboration.”
The comedian later replied to his fellow Canadian, “It was magical for me too, my friend. Collabra-cadabra!”
Carrey told Access Hollywood he would “probably” retire from showbiz unless he was offered scripts that “really matter to people.”
“I like my quiet life very much,” he said.
Ho-Yeon was recently recognized for her role in Netflix’s international hit series at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, where she won Outstanding Performance as a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
