Jim O’Toole Named New Chief Executive of Bord Bia


Bord Bia announced that Jim O’Toole has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

r O’Toole is due to take up the position on 1 November and is currently CEO of Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), the Irish Seafood Development Agency.

He is described as having extensive experience in global food marketing, sustainability development and change leadership. Previously he held senior positions at Bord Bia (Irish Food Board) and gained extensive market experience in London, Milan and Paris.

Announcing the appointment, Bord Bia Chairman Dan MacSweeney said his significant experience in the agri-food sector, extensive international experience and strong business, strategic and operational expertise make him an ideal leader to lead on his great job building predecessors and the rest of the Bord Bia team.
