Fallon, returning as host of “The Tonight Show” for the first time since the end of the writers’ strike, noted that Trump’s stern look in the courtroom was similar to the pose he struck in August for his mugshot following his arrest on solicitation-related charges to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
“It’s like Trump has a resting mugshot face now,” Fallon joked.
Fallon also criticized Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.)’s “Beetlejuice” incident.
“Five month break and we’re back. I’m so excited to be here, I’m so excited, seriously. “I’m more excited than someone watching Beetlejuice with Lauren Boebert,” he joked.
