Jo O’Meara ‘will not rule out’ S Club 7 reunion in the future

Jo O’Meara revealed she almost died after experiencing sudden health complications while on a 23-hour flight.

The S Club star nearly lost her life six years ago when she was on her way to New Zealand.

Suffering with the bowl strangling mid-flight, she was rushed to the hospital as soon as the plane landed.

She says stress brought on her adult acne, which she still suffers from today.

The singer talked to Scott McGlynn on his popular Instagram show Celebrity talk and frankly relive the scary ride.

“Back in 2016, I was in a bit of a situation,” she told the presenter. “I was strangled by a bowl on the plane and I had to be rushed into surgery.

“Honestly, it almost killed me. I was hospitalized for a long time.

“They wouldn’t let me fly home because I was so poor. Then I discovered an injury that could help form adult acne, which I didn’t know existed until I was diagnosed. I got it.

“It was horrible because there was nothing I could do.”

During the show, Jo was asked which song she really didn’t like to record at first.

Scott asked her, “Have you and the band ever wanted to sing an S Club 7 song, like Girls Aloud said they didn’t want to do Love Machine but it was their biggest hit and was known by a lot of people. arrive?”

Jo replied, “You know what, it’s Reach. We were all sitting in the room and one guy played it on a guitar and we were like no, but we made it and that’s what we are. known – our biggest hit.”

Last month, Jo revealed she once discovered a stalker hiding under her hotel room bed.

Crafty fans say they managed to sneak into the superstar’s room after convincing hotel staff that they were related to Jo – claiming they were her cousins.

She was shocked at first, but Jo admits they were “very nice and pleasant” despite scaring her by slipping inside her room.

The 43-year-old singer rose to fame as a member of S Club 7 from 1999 to 2003 before deciding to embark on a solo career.

The singer also said she remains in touch with her old bandmate Rachel Stevens, who was on ITV’s Dancing on Ice this year.
