Joe Wicks shares humble beginnings before becoming famous as a national fitness trainer

Fitness trainer Joe Wicks has shared about his humble beginnings before becoming famous during the Covid-19 pandemic with his Fitness with Joe YouTube videos that have attracted millions of viewers worldwide.
he, 37, also known by the nickname Fitness Trainer, tweeted a photo of the old trailer box, containing all of his exercise equipment, which he used to attach to his bike during his time as a personal trainer in Richmond, London.
Fitness YouTuber, who completed a 24-hour workout challenge raising more than £2 million for Children In Need, says he will cycle a 10-mile cycle between Surbiton and Richmond in the early hours of the morning to meet clients his own when he could not afford his own vehicle at the time.
In some cases, “nobody even comes to” the fitness trainer’s sessions, but he says “it doesn’t stop me”.
Reflecting on his journey from humble personal trainer to fitness star, Wicks wrote on Twitter: “This is where it all started for me.”
“When I started out as a personal trainer, I couldn’t afford a truck to get to my training camp in Richmond with all my gear so I bought this trailer, attached it behind his bike and will cycle 5 miles from Surbiton to Richmond twice a day.
“Rain or shine, I will be there at 6am and 7:30pm and sometimes no one even comes.
“It annoys me, but it doesn’t stop me. I didn’t give up.
“I will pack my things, ride my bike to the station and hand out flyers to commuters before returning home.
“I repeated this every day for many months until Bootcamp gradually developed.
“Today I have an office just 20 meters from where I stand.”
The fitness YouTuber hopes to inspire his group of followers to pursue their goals.
“The spirit of the story…never gives up,” he tweeted.
“Believe in yourself and keep working hard. You can be as successful as you want.
“Go and reach your goal and win.”
