John Delaney must pay much of the cost of the High Court’s failed bid to claim privileges on documents seized by the FAI

The High Court has ordered former Football Association of Ireland boss John Delaney to pay the bulk of the costs of his failed attempt to secure legal privilege for documents seized by the FAI’s Corporate Inspectorate.

Judge Leonie Reynolds awarded the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE) most of the costs of the extended hearings.
