John Terry admitted he doesn’t care about it Wayne Rooney wears longer studs to ‘hurt someone’ in one Premier League match schedule at Stamford Bridge in April 2006.

The former striker made a sensational admission in his new Amazon documentary.

The game in question is between Terry’s Chelsea and Rooney’s Manchester United, with the latter needing a win to prevent the Blues from lifting a second title in a row.

Terry suffered a nasty injury after a very strong tackle from Rooney. Ironically, the United player broke his ankle in the same match.

Many were stunned by Rooney’s revelation, as he would link up with Terry at international level for the World Cup just a few months later.

The FA has warned the Derby County manager about his conduct after the story.

When asked if he was interested in Rooney’s revelation about Instagram, Terry said: “Of course not. We know each other well enough and have had many battles over the years.

Discussing that game, Rooney said: “I always wear those old plastic studs with metal tips.

Discussing his warning from the FA, Rooney said: “I went out on the pitch and spoke my mind, that’s what I’m feeling at that time in my life.

“I gave my response to the FA. They gave me a warning, that is, the matter was put to bed. We continued from there.
