Actor John Zderko tragically passed away after battling cancer

John Zderko failed miserably in his battle with cancer.

The Criminal Minds actor has passed away at the age of 60 following complications from his treatment.

His friend and co-star Charlie Koontz shared the horrifying news on social media after sharing it with the Hollywood Reporter on Thursday.

He tweeted: “A great friend and great actor gone too soon.

“Thank you so much @THR and @MikeBarnes4 for giving our friend a real Hollywood trip.

“And to @captainblackusa for the great idea. Your name lights up again, John. Love you. RIP.”

John left behind his sister Karen and nephews Jason and Jeff.

The beloved actor first appeared on screen in 2005 and went on to appear in 9-1-1: Lone Star, Dirty John and The Player.
