Johnny B: 2 Johnnies star met his influencer girlfriend online after catfish ordeal

The influencer girlfriend of podcast and radio star Johnny B – one half of The 2 Johnnies – has revealed they have met on social media.

It comes months after Johnny B went public about his messy experience with a catfish named “Cora,” which lured him and dozens of other men, including GAA stars, with fake Instagram profiles.

The hit podcast went viral and Johnny has since found love with Clare influencer Shauna Lindsay.

Shauna and Johnny B recently went public after Johnny shared a photo of them together.

The couple have just returned from a holiday in Australia and while Shauna has not previously opened up about the romance, Shauna today revealed how they met during a Q&A on her Instagram Stories.

When asked how they met, Shauna replied that they “met like any modern day love story, the DMs.”

Johnny B previously kept his relationship with the model under wraps.

Last year, Johnny B opened up about his messy experience with “the GAA Catfish” — a woman who tricked him, several GAA stars and about 30 other men into thinking they were romantically involved with fake Instagram profiles.

Known as “Cora,” although her real name was never revealed, she maintained an intricate network of social media accounts to entice many people into a “relationship.”

Their catfishing can be dated back almost a decade, the podcasting duo found after Johnny B himself was duped by the woman.

Rumors of his romance with Shauna began swirling last summer after they were spotted vacationing together.

When asked about his love life by RSVP Live, Johnny was described as having “a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face but didn’t hear the news”.

The star said: “No comment.”

However, the couple had already flown to Rome together, with an insider telling Goss.ie that Johnny kept his cards close to his chest following his catfishing drama.
