The case marks the beginning of another dramatic and explosive week in Virginia’s Fairfax County Courthouse.

Proceedings regarding a former lover’s defamation dispute between Mr Depp and Ms Heard continued into a sixth and final week on Monday.

Star Edward Scissorhands, 58, is suing his ex-wife, Heard, 36, for alleged defamation over an article she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 in which she claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse.
