Johnny Depp wins Amber Heard defamation case

Johnny Depp took to the UK stage again on Thursday night, just a day after winning a bitter legal battle with ex Amber Heard.

It was the fourth time in a week that the Hollywood actor, 58, had attended one of his close friend Jeff Beck’s concerts, and he had wowed die-hard fans at Sage in Gateshead.

While stopping to sign autographs for excited Northeastern natives, he declined to comment on Wednesday’s sensational case ruling.

He was spotted smoking a black cigarette as he greeted a crowd of patients who had been waiting for hours in bad weather trying to catch a glimpse of their idol.

While he remained silent on questions regarding Heard and his multi-million pound win, he smiled at his fans and happily signed autographs.

Piers Morgan described Johnny Depp’s defamation win as a ‘totally slam dunk victory’

During the concert, musician Jeff told the audience that the Pirates of the Caribbean star had “been through a lot” and alluded to a “good judgment”.

When the adoring crowd – reportedly comprising more than 100 people – got too excited, security officers are said to have intervened and returned the star to a vehicle.

North News reported that some fans exclaimed “I can’t breathe” after the manager touched the actor.

Fans then chased the passenger carrier as it accelerated, with super fan Katie Riley telling how she attended the concert just to see her idol perform.

She said: “I’m very excited. I originally bought tickets for the Hollywood Vampires tour in 2020, then it was rescheduled to 2022 and then it was canceled all together, so I feel like being able to see him on stage like this waited a long time and a dream come true.

“He’s everything I could hope for. It hasn’t sunk in for me yet.”

She continued: “He’s a very talented musician. I’ve known him since he was about thirteen years old, and that certainly shows.

“The atmosphere was great throughout the entire show, but the hype went up when Johnny showed up.

Johnny first surprised concert-goers in the UK earlier in the week when he took to the stage in Sheffield.

Throughout his appearances, he has covered the song Isolation, which was originally a song by John Lennon and released by Depp and Beck in 2020.

The tune recently re-entered the charts amid the actor’s legal battle with Heard.
