Johnny Depp has described what he considers the “lowest point in my life” moment after Amber Heard took over his meds.

The 58-year-old actor said the moment happened while he was on a detox in the Bahamas in 2014 as directed by his private doctor.

Johnny said his ex-wife Amber, 35, came to the islands with him so she could be there when the medical experts weren’t available, like in the early hours.

Depp, who is suing Amber for $50 million in a Virginia libel suit, said he had to ask Amber for his medication at certain points during his detox, and described a moment when she refused to give him the medication.

Johnny told the court that Amber once said it wasn’t the right time for her medication and he said it wasn’t the time as he needed it right now.

Depp said: “It was physical. I hate to say it and I hate to admit it, but that was about the lowest point in my life.

“That was the deepest thing I’ve ever felt as a human being because I had to say please. Please, may I have the medication because it really works. She was adamant… it’s not time.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor said he begged her before rolling off a sofa and “sat on the floor crying”.

He told the court that he had “tears running down his face” and that he was “begging another human being to please give me the medicine that will take care of it”.

Depp said he then took a scaldingly hot shower to get his body to deal with the pain rather than his body going through withdrawal symptoms.
