Jorge Masvidal has revealed his hatred of Colby Covington in a backstage chat with former UFC champion Michael Bisping.
Masvidal and Covington will settle their rivalry at UFC 272 tonight after their friendship has soured in recent years.
The two were friends and training partners, but their relationship ended after a raging bankruptcy.
They will meet tonight in a fight that will have major welterweight implications.
And after speaking to Masvidal after last night’s weigh-in ceremony, Bisping said: “They can’t stand each other. I just spoke to Jorge for about 25 minutes.
“He has this look in his eyes like he really wants to kill the guy. Trust me I was there, I was on the receiving end. He’s not a man to mess around with, and he talks.
“He said a lot of things. He says, ‘Listen, Colby’s talking about my ex-wife, he’s talking about my kids’ … those things are off the table.
“Jorge said, ‘My daughter is 13 years old, she has a phone, she sees things. He puts her in an awkward position, he puts her in a difficult situation.'”
Masvidal and Covington have been kept separate for their two duels this week, first after Thursday’s press conference and then after last night’s weigh-in.

Las Vegas cops were also deployed to make sure the bad blood didn’t spill over.
Earlier this week, both men vowed to end this bitter rivalry in their favor.
Masvida promised: “The only way to finish an ass like that is to finish his ass. I’m sending him back to the casinos. I’m sending him back to the arcades. I have to kick his ass out.”
And Covington said, “You’re such a bum. It’ll be easy work on Saturday night. This ain’t even gonna be a walk in the park dude.”
