Jorgie Porter, 34, has confessed wedding planning is “the worst thing” and she has no plans so far, five months after her surprise engagement.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at the Pride of Manchester Awards on Tuesday night – her first red carpet walk alongside fiance Ollie Piotrowski – the Hollyoaks actress admitted she was contemplating tying the knot at abroad to keep numbers low.
“It was the worst thing ever,” laughed Jorgie as the Mirror asked the happy couple how the wedding plans were going.
“I hope it will come to me – it will come.”
Actress Theresa McQueen went on to admit that although she hasn’t chosen a costume or dated a date, she and Ollie have already begun looking into potential venues for their special day.

“We were thinking about maybe traveling abroad to see what options they had – that’s an excuse for a vacation, isn’t it?” Jorgie joked, beaming beside her fiancé.
The stunning actress also confessed that she’s thinking of keeping her special day’s guest list limited to her “closest” friends and family, after the party got underway. Her kiss made her realize “you don’t get to talk to everyone” during the celebration.
Ollie’s festival proposal last year came just weeks after actress Hollyoaks revealed she had an unfortunate miscarriage in the summer of 2021.
Speaking shortly after her partner questioned her, Jorgie confessed that she had “never in her life” thought that someone would propose to her.

“I never thought I’d be proposed, so this was a surprise no matter what!” Jorgie uttered in an episode of her Loose Lips podcast in January of this year.
“I think, at the end of the day I am still me. I don’t think it’s going to really happen in real life, so all that thinking probably has to be softened a bit but then the audience is going to look forward to it,” she went on to add when discussing the show. Her previous elaborate wedding plans with co-hosts.
“My guests, my friends, will expect, I think they know what I’m like, so I don’t think it’s going to be too far, you know.”
