This morning: Phillip and Josie in hysteria after the wrong sofa incident

Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay will return to host This Morning as part of the show’s Easter celebrations.

The new ITV lineup for early spring also includes Friday favorites Alison Hammond, 47, and Dermot O’Leary, 48.

Alison and Dermot will host the daytime show all week from Monday, April 4, while Josie, 37, and Vernon, 47, will host next week.

As she returned to the This Morning sofa and co-hosted with Vernon again, Josie said she felt “so honored, so honored and couldn’t believe it was happening”.

She continued: “I am very grateful to all the This Morning team for letting me come back and host the show.

“As for Vernon, when they said I would be hosting with Vernon again, I screamed with excitement! Truly a legend.”

Meanwhile, co-host Vernon said he had “the most brilliant time” hosting This Morning with Josie before Christmas.

He added: “I am happy to be asked again. The show is such an institution for many, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the team and interacting with viewers again over Easter. ”

Alison and Dermot will include additional Bank Holiday programs on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18.

Regular hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will return this Morning on Tuesday, April 19.

Ahead of her Easter hosting duties on the show, Josie shared about sitting at the helm of the show with every show of The Morning.

She said of Phillip: “He was really funny. We often see ‘presenter Phil’ and sometimes I wish people would see more of ‘Phil’ because he’s so hilarious! He is also very gentle and he really cares.

“When I have an ear infection, he always checks on me and asks if I’m okay – he’s so adorable.”

Turning to Dermot, she said: “I love Dermot too. He is also very caring and attentive, and truly one of the nicest people in the business. ”

As for best friend Alison, Josie has nothing but good things to add, saying: “She’s just my life partner, isn’t she? I love her little by little. She brings the party, she’s the energy, she’s the scream, and she just lights up a room insofar as I think.”

Continuing with Holly, she said: “Oh my gosh, she’s such a great broadcaster. She’s just an effort. I was terrified of her, but she was a real girl – and so was Alison – and they both helped me.

“We all encourage and push each other to do well. But I love Holly, she has a very good energy… and interestingly, me, Holly and Alison are all Aquarius women! ”
