Josie Gibson blushed today when faced with secret love on Coronation Street on This Morning today.
Lovely Bristolian, 37, reached out to Holly Willoughby while she was isolating at home with Covid.
Last week, Josie likened Corrie’s gruff legend, Michael Le Vell, who has played mechanic Kevin Webster since 1983, to a “glass of red wine that gets better with age”.
However, what she did not expect today was to receive a personal message from the actor himself.
Reminding her of her comments last week, Phil cheerfully commented: “She’s clueless about this, he’s actually been in touch.”
Shocked and blushing, Josie gasped as she put her hands in front of her mouth.
“He’s not here, is he?” Josie asked.
“No, he’s not here,” said Phil. “Did you make a big deal out of it? No, he meant to say this…”
Then Michael appeared on screen as he approached her and said, “Hi Josie. It’s Michael Le Vell. I saw your little ‘wine’ comment on This Morning the other day. Someone sent to me, and you know what?”
“Sometimes in the pub I just play it for the guys to relax. But thanks a lot for that! And maybe someday we’ll meet in person in the studio! Thanks a again and have a great day.”
Josie’s face went completely red as she waved her hand at the screen and said, “Oh, he’s so handsome! He’s so handsome! Yes, he’s adorable. Thanks for that! I don’t know anything about that! Well, that’s amazing. Um Uh. He’s definitely a fine red wine, isn’t he?”
