Justin Bieber continues world tour after recovering from facial paralysis

Justin Bieber will return to the stage with a string of dates in Europe after previously postponing his world tour while he was recovering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

His singer will begin July 31 at the Lucca Summer festival in Italy before continuing through South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand in 2023.

He recently postponed the remaining days of his US stay, which will be rescheduled in due course.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) is caused by viral reactivation and is one of the 60 causes of facial paralysis, or facial paralysis as known in the United States.

Announcing the postponement of the US, a post from the tour’s official Instagram account said the singer was “optimistic” and received “the best medical care possible”.

Previously, the 27-year-old said he had been doing facial exercises to regain movement, but still needed time to recover.
