Kanye West’s highly anticipated performance at the upcoming Grammy Awards has been canceled amid concerns over his ongoing campaign of abuse against ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

The 44-year-old rap sensation was scheduled to take the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada next month to perform at the star-studded ceremony.

But now his performance has been scrapped after months of shocking social media posts in which he befriended ex-wife Kim, 41, and her boyfriend, 28, Pete Davidson.

There is speculation that organizers pulled out of Kanye’s performance out of fear that they would condone his outrageous behavior – which led, among other things, to him accusing Kim of accusing him of using drugs, hiring a hitman against her and Pete to have repeatedly threatened .

He will no longer perform at the glittering event

Variety confirmed the news on Saturday, wittingly: “Kanye West has been banned from performing at the Grammy Awards because of his ‘concerning online behavior.'”

According to her account, a rep for the music star said: “Received a call on Friday night to say he was ‘unfortunately’ removed from the cast lineup for the show.”

Her report added, “Our sources say Kanye’s team is not surprised by the decision.”
Kanye’s 2021 album, titled Donda, is up for five awards, including best album, and will still be fighting for the gongs despite the musician’s apparent stage ban.

Fellow musician The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, has contested the decision – which came just hours after Kanye was temporarily banned from Instagram for his explosive social media posts.

The Game has hinted that it suspects Grammy Awards show host Trevor Noah may have prevented the musician from attending.

He wrote online: “The Grammys made a last minute decision to pull @kanyewest from the show as if we didn’t know it was coming

“Could be because @trevornoah is hosting and there was a conversation between his team and the academy that led to the decision, or because Ye’s account was suspended for unknown reasons just a few days ago, especially in a world where all the negativity in the world can be found in the same app with no repercussions or exposures

“Speak your mind in this country for yourself, your family or your people and you will be instantly ostracized and if you push them hard enough they will stop endlessly to try to bring an end to you as a whole.

“I can’t sleep at night knowing I’ve been silent about issues burning holes in my heart or narratives falsely pushed by the mass agenda to create a mindset that the person in question is crazy or has internal problems that cannot be repaired.”
