Kanye West seems to have returned to Twitter.
Checking Check if my Twitter is blocked,” the rapper wrote on Sunday.
It marks the latest development in the turbulent relationship between the social networking site and the West, who were banned from posting anti-Semitic comments last month.
West’s latest tweet drew mixed reactions from fellow users, with some celebrating his apparent return and others commenting, “Oh no.”
West’s account – banned on October 9 after he said he would “die the 3rd scammer for Jews” – was reinstated earlier this month upon Elon’s Twitter purchases Musk passed.
After being rehabilitated, West tweeted on November 3, “I won’t speak to anyone for a month.”
He also shared an image of a short statement that reads: “I’m doing a 30-day detox. A quick word. No alcohol. No adult movies. No intercourse. In the Lord we praise. Amen.”
Meanwhile, West is said to be in the process of buying the alternative messaging platform Parler, which sees itself as an unbiased platform and favored by prominent conservative voices in the United States.
His new post more than three weeks after his Twitter account was reinstated comes after Musk moved to allow some previously banned accounts online again, including the former president’s. President Donald Trump.
Musk suggested that Trump’s decision to reinstate the account, which was blocked after the January 6 uprising, was motivated by a Twitter poll.

In the past, Musk has suggested that Twitter will form a content moderation committee with “diverse views” before deciding on Trump and other controversial accounts. It is not clear if that council has ever met.
