Julia Fox goes viral because of the weird way she says ‘Uncut Gems’

Julia Fox confessed that she was “stoned” after being mocked for the way she pronounced the movie title Uncut Gems.

The actress was responding to a TikTok trend in which users impersonated the way she said “gems”.

“Omgggg, I’ve been stoned, leave me alone!!!! Hahahahah,” she commented on a Page Six video featuring TikTokers impersonating her.

She appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this month and was asked by the host, Alex Cooper, if she considers herself Kanye’s muse.

Julia, 32, now separated from Kanye, who has legally changed her name to Ye, said: “Yes, maybe a little bit. I think so.”

Alex then asks her what a muse is.

“I mean, I was Josh Safdie’s muse when he wrote Uncut Gems,” Julia replied, pronouncing “gems” the same as “jam.”

Josh Safdie is the director and co-writer of Uncut Gems, the film in which Julia starred.

She continued: “You know what I mean? Likes that sort of thing. Like I think people make it sound a little more dramatic. Like you know what I mean? It’s not like Van Gogh, it’s kind of like, he I just want to dress me up right now. I think it is.”

The actress and Ye broke up before the rapper broke up with Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, 28, on social media.

But Julia doesn’t seem too upset by the breakup and has publicly mocked reports that she’s “sad” over the breakup.
