Julia Fox has retracted her comments claiming her ex-boyfriend Kanye West is “harmless”.
She previously jumped to his defense after he was banned from Instagram for making “hateful” comments.
Kanye – who split from Julia last month after a short-lived romance – has been teasing his ex-wife Kim Kardashian in recent weeks and continued to smack her new boyfriend, Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.
But now Julia, 32, admitted she hadn’t seen his social media posts as she made those comments to defend him TMZ.
“I would like to point out that at the time of this video I had not seen the latest Instagram posts,” the actress reportedly said of her recent comments in a since-deleted post.
“Believe it or not, I have a life and a son, and I have no Google alerts for this man!”
Julia and Kanye made headlines when they briefly dated earlier this year. Meanwhile, Kim has been dating Pete since October of last year.
Kim, 41, filed for divorce from the Stronger rapper, 44, in February 2021.
Kanye has released two music videos for this song Eazy which feature animated versions of Pete getting hurt.
One music video featured a claymation burying Pete alive, while the second video showed him being pummeled by the skinned monkey used as cover art for the single.
Earlier this week, Julia claimed Ye wouldn’t “hurt a fly.”
Julia told TMZ at the time: “Kanye is harmless. I just think that’s his artistic creative expression.
“I know it’s aggressive, but I think if it really matters, I don’t think Kanye would harm a fly.”

Earlier this week, Kanye was temporarily suspended from Instagram after violating the site’s policies.
The rapper has fired multiple shots at estranged wife Kim and her new boyfriend Pete on the platform over the past few weeks, targeting Trevor Noah on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Meta, which owns Instagram, said TMZ that the Gold Digger singer violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying with his recent outbursts.
As a result, he was reportedly banned from his account for 24 hours. During this time, he cannot send posts, comments, or direct messages.
Since Kim started dating Pete, Kanye has nicknamed him “Skete,” called him a “d***head,” and posted rants against the young comedian.
He was also banned from performing at the Grammy Awards because of his “online conduct.”
