Prince William and Kate sing along to ‘Sweet Caroline’ in Wales

Kate Middleton, Prince William and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte traveled to Cardiff Castle today as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Prince Louis was mostly left at home after his amusing performance on the balcony at Trooping The Color, where his array of cheeky facial expressions stole the show.

The royals visited the castle ahead of a special anniversary concert held at the grounds later in the day to get a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals and meet some of the acts – including Bonnie Tyler.

During their visit, George and Charlotte tried out the music decks and the family sang along a little to a classic hit.

In a video shared on Twitter by royal pundit Richard Palmer, Kate, William, Charlotte and George are seen having fun while an orchestra performs a cover of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline.

The royals join in a little sing-along and Kate seems to be having a blast, waving her hands like a conductor and laughing.

At the end of the song, everyone gives the musicians a big round of applause.

The visit comes tonight, on day three of the anniversary celebrations, ahead of the party at the Palace in London.

Prince William and Prince Charles will take to the stage to deliver speeches during the star-studded event tonight.

The couple will speak in honor of the monarch towards the end of the BBC show, which takes place outside Buckingham Palace.

Famous faces set to perform at the concert include Diana Ross, Alicia Keys, Queen + Adam Lambert and George Ezra.

They will sing to a live audience of 22,000 people and a television audience of millions.

In addition, the nation will be asked to sing along to Sweet Caroline as part of BBC Radio 2’s anniversary celebrations.

Listeners to Zoe Ball’s breakfast show chose the song as an “uplifting” tune, and Radio 2 will encourage people across the country to get together on June 5 and take part in a sing-along. They hope 10 million people will join.
