Royal author Katie Nicholl has revealed the nickname Kate Middleton’s colleagues gave her during the university’s Freshers’ Week before Prince William’s arrival

College is a time to study, but it’s also a time to have fun with friends – and the Duchess of Cambridge has done just that.
Kate enrolled at St Andrews University in Fife, Scotland, where she studied art history.
And while she’s never been a big drinker, she took the plunge at Freshers’ Week – a college tradition that welcomes new students with a week of hanging out and partying – and made her own. an impressive nickname.

“Kate soon found her way and was often seen relaxing in the common room, curled up in an armchair, cup of tea in hand, reading the articles her father sent her sympathetically. move or get to know her companions.”
Prince William is also studying at university and arrives the following week.
He moved into the apartment above Kate’s and it didn’t take long to recognize the gorgeous brunette – perhaps because of the nickname she was given by her peers.
According to Katie, she was dubbed ‘beautiful Kate’ at the end of Refresh Week.
She wrote: “She was initially more reserved than many other young women, but her natural beauty was evident.
“Tanned after a recent vacation in Barbados with her parents, she’s healthy for an early morning run or swim, and wearing comfortable Hennes jeans, a fitted sweater and signature cowboy boots,” she said. She radiates freshness on the outside and confidence on the inside.”
William is said to have plucked up the courage to ask her to join him and his friends for breakfast one day.
Of the moment, royal author Tom Quinn said: “One of the funny stories was that he was so hungry to see her that when he walked towards her he seemed to stumble and say , ‘Oh, that’s a bad start, you’d think I’m a complete blood clot.”
The walks to class brought the couple closer together and it wasn’t long before their friendship became closer.
This year, the star couple will celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary with three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
