The Princess of Wales will return for a special Christmas celebration at Westminster Abbey, in honor of the late Queen.
The broadcaster said the anniversary event to be held on Thursday 15 December will honor the values Queen Elizabeth II has embodied throughout her life, “including empathy, compassion, hide and assist others,” the broadcaster said.
Inspirational guests from across the UK who share and personify those principles were invited to the service in recognition of their tireless efforts in helping and caring for those around.
Organized by Kate and supported by the Royal Foundation, ITV says the carol service will recognize and celebrate the “selfless efforts” of people across the UK and highlight the “significant impact that the coming together to support others is possible for all of us.”
The broadcaster added that it will “celebrate and showcase the joy that human connection can bring, forge friendships and strengthen community, creating a legacy of humility and kindness, while providing relief and comfort in times of difficulty or loss.”
Members of the Royal family will be among those in attendance, along with guests ranging from those involved in grassroots community projects, charity workers and volunteers, to those involved in grassroots community projects. emergency responders and armed force personnel, ITV said.
Audiences will also feature people who have worked in key areas of Kate’s work through The Royal Foundation, including those in roles related to mental health, family and early development.
The service will combine both traditional and modern elements, “reaching people of all faiths and no faiths,” confirmed ITV.
The Westminster Abbey Choir will bring the nations the most beloved carols along with readings and musical performances by many special guests.
The commemorative event has been developed in partnership with Westminster Abbey and BBC Studios Events Productions and will air as part of an ITV special on Christmas Eve.

Last year, the service included performances by British singer-songwriter Tom Walker, who joined Kate on piano and Leona Lewis.
TV presenter Kate Garraway also read a piece about love at Westminster Abbey during the royal ceremony.
Royal Carols: Together At Christmas will air on Christmas Eve on ITV and ITVX.
