Lorraine: Katie Price discusses IVF journey with Carl Woods
Katie Price has revealed about reducing the IVF route in her attempt to have a baby with fiancé Carl Woods.
The mother-of-five, 43, spoke on Lorraine today, admitting she “feels young” but “my body doesn’t” and hopes that her IVF process will successful.
She said: “We’re going down the route of IVF. The problem is, it’s weird. Even though I feel young, my body doesn’t. I’ve learned this that every cycle period that you have, you will ovulate each time.
“I didn’t know it and obviously I’m 44 this year and I don’t have as many eggs as I would like so we had to do IVF and we’re doing it.
“We got married this year – IVF, happily, can’t wait to have more kids and I’ve been with Carl for almost two years now and unfortunately for Carl I broke our relationship a month ago because he was my carer and I was in a wheelchair for eight months.”
She also mentioned her latest surgery following an eye and eyebrow lift earlier this month.
Showing off her strong new figure, she was warned by Lorraine: “Now I’m looking at you and I want to say: ‘Stop working! You’re fine!'”
“You sound like my mother,” Katie retorted. “You’re a lot like my mom. She was like, ‘What are you doing? Where are you going?’ Because Harvey just won an award and so many people texted me and said, ‘Kate, what hat are you wearing on your head?’ I said, ‘That’s not a hat, it’s a bandage.’
“I raised my eyebrows and my mom was like, ‘What are you doing that for?’ And I was like, ‘Mom, just realized that I’m in my 40s, I’ve done my whole career naturally, except for the boobs, and I’m going to have surgery.’ “Why? You don’t need it!” But I thought, ‘That’s what I want, just accept it and don’t drive yourself crazy’.”
However, Lorraine exclaims: “But Katie, the pain! It’s not just the cost, it’s the pain!”

“You know, the face doesn’t really hurt that much,” replied Katie. “I’m in my 40s, so why not? Everyone picks me, my mom and everyone, but I try these things.”
Katie was also asked how she’s doing now, to which she replied: “I’m really good and this is what’s going to happen. I’m good but things happen to me, so people cause I mean a lot. It’s been in the press lately but I want people to know that I’m really good.
“Obviously I did another time in Priory and it wasn’t rehab, it wasn’t alcohol or drug related, it was severe PTSD again and I was in it due to what people did. with me led to the car accident that led me to the Priest.

“So I decided to have treatment every week for the rest of my life.”
Asked if that would help her, she said: “Just because of what I think happens to me, things build up, build up and then I just say, ‘Ah!’ And then I do more damage and it’s like, ugh.”
It comes after Katie suggested in January that “traumatic events” led to her drug use last year and that she was “not a heavy drinker”.
At the time, she said she was “not ready” to talk about the trauma she suffered and that she felt “embarrassed” for what had happened.
Katie avoided spending Christmas behind bars when a judge said a legal loophole prevented her from giving Katie the sentence she deserved.
