Katie Price avoids court today after paying £7,000 fine amid turbulent weekend arrest

Katie Price avoided another court fight by paying more than £7k in court fines – after being arrested AGAIN last week.
The former model, 43, has collected the £7,358 she owes since 2019 after she was summoned to Crawley Magistrates court.
She had to appear today for not paying the fine, but cleared the charges on Friday – just hours before she was arrested for allegedly sending abusive text messages.
A court official said: “She has paid the fine in full. She paid them on Friday.”
Price was arrested after allegedly violating a court order not to contact her ex-husband’s new fiancée.
Katie’s mother of the year is kept at the police station for 12 hours after allegedly contacting Kieran Hayler’s new partner.
She is banned “directly or indirectly” from contacting Michelle Penticost, 39, who is engaged to Kieran, 34, and the couple have a son together.
In 2019, Katie was banned from contacting her after a four-letter ranking in a playground.

But now, she is said to have sent Michelle a branded text message that reads “c *** ing w *** e piece of s ***” and “gutter slag”.
The police have look for any messages on her phone which may have broken the court order.
A friend said: ‘Katie has been going through a rough time and it seems her behavior over the past few weeks has become a bit erratic.
“She lashed out on social media and even had an attack on Peter Andre’s ex-wife Emily MacDonagh and claimed she prevented her daughter from visiting her in rehab. addiction.
“Her family wants her to go back to The Priory for a while to get over her demons because she did so well before when she was there.
“However, this is not what Katie wants to do. They know how lucky she was that she didn’t end up in jail for the binge drinking but now she has to face jail again.
“It was an extremely worrying time. Her family is in dire straits. They want to do everything they can to help and protect Katie.
“But this time if found guilty, she really didn’t help herself and the situation looks bleak.”
Katie looked depressed when she was spotted for the first time since being released on bail.
She’s at a gas station with fiance Carl Woods near their ousted mansion – and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
‘BLEAK SITUATION’
Katie is serving a 16-week suspended sentence for drunk driving after flipping over her BMW – and evading jail at the time simply by attending rehab at The Priory.
Her latest trial was dropped ahead of a bankruptcy hearing next month.
The Sun exclusively reveals how hearing has been adjourned again – and now will fall on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
Katie is expected to return to court before the end of the year to update the trustees about the payment of her debts – but the hearing has now been rescheduled.
The former glamor model was declared bankrupt in November 2019 and last August we revealed that she faces jail if she misses her next hearing.
Following the 2019 ruling, Katie was supposed to pay £12,000 a month to her creditors after working out an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) – but failed to do so.
The next hearing is to look at her efforts to pay off her massive debts to creditors two years after bankruptcy.
Katie owes a staggering £3.2 million to her creditors, but is not able to return all.
The mother-of-five watched her once lucrative £45m media empire fall apart following the collapse of her third marriage to Kieran Hayler and the collapse of her business.
Last year Katie was hit by a reclaim challenger for her £1.35m home after she defaulted on more than £500,000 in debt on the property – known as Mucky Mansion.
She faces losing her home if she can’t accumulate the cash to pay off her debtors before a recovery hearing.
