Former glamor model Katie Price will be sentenced in court today (June 24) after admitting to violating the restraining order.
The 44-year-old has been in the spotlight since appearing on Page 3 of The Sun under her old moniker Jordan in the mid-1990s.
A regular reality TV stream has kept the public consciousness of the mother-of-five, who appeared as a contestant on ITV’s I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! and was the subject of a series of articles about her previous relationship with pop star Peter Andre and her career after their breakup.
But the media personality is reporting for a different reason at the moment as she prepares to face a crown court judge – and she has been warned she could be jailed.
Why does Katie Price have to appear in court?

The OnlyFans star had to appear in court this morning for sentencing after pleading guilty to violating a restraining order against ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancée Michelle Penticost.
The children’s author previously pleaded not guilty to one charge of violating the restraining order on April 27 and asked a court to hear it.
However, she changed her confession when she entered a formal plea in May.
Can Katie Price go to jail?
Following her formal plea, Katie was warned by judge Stephen Mooney at Lewes Crown Court that she was “in danger of going to jail”.
Guidelines for such offenses indicate that two years behind bars is the starting point for any punishment that involves jail time.
However, having pleaded guilty, she is likely to have her sentence reduced – although not as much as if she had admitted to the crime at the first opportunity.
Katie also has 16 weeks of probation from December 2021 after admitting to crashing her car on September 28, 2021, although the trouble star was still banned from driving at the time.
The suspended sentence – still on file in case she breaks the law again – can be applied concurrently or on top of today’s primary sentence.
Katie admits how she broke the ban
Famous people are slapped with a 5 year ban that barred her from communicating with her ex-husband’s partner, directly or indirectly, after she admitted to using abusive language in 2019 against Michelle, 39, at the school gate.
Katie was married to Kieran from 2013 to 2021 and has two children with former strippers, Jett and Bunny, who attend the same school as Michelle’s eldest son Valentino.

Kieran has since been engaged to his mother Michelle, whom he met while doing the school run. The couple went on to welcome their first child, son Apollo, in August 2021.
In January of this year, Katie texted Kieran, 34, accusing him and Michelle of conducting “an affair.. behind my back” while they were still a commodity.
She labeled Michelle “a whore” and “a whore” in her messages.
Does Katie believe she can go to jail?
The Brighton-born Celebrity Big Brother winner is said to have “begged” his half-sister Sophie to conduct her wedding in the event that she is jailed today – a request that the couple said. 22-year-old brothers happily agreed.
Katie was a bridesmaid at the knotting session on Wednesday and wore a blue silk dress as she joined her children Harvey, Junior, Princess and Bunny.

The Sun quoted a source as saying the family was “desperate to share this special moment together” as “it’s very likely Katie will end up in jail on Friday”.
Last week, however, she took to Instagram to ask fans how to keep the bikinis on for the upcoming holiday, saying she “so badly needed” them for her trip 10 days later.
It looks like she booked herself into a makeup class – to which she sold tickets – in Ibiza and told her fans: “I’m going to Ibiza on July 15.
“If you ladies are on vacation, hen dos, make sure you get tickets to my last summer makeup classes.”
