A toddler has joined Katie Price’s family, but some fans have expressed their interest in the tiny chihuahua.
The former glamor model introduced ‘Little Captain’ to her Instagram followers on Wednesday morning, with a snap of the adorable little black puppy posing on the dashboard of a car car.
Katie’s latest addition to her household comes just months after the mother of a 5-year-old was beaten up by an animal rights charity for introducing a new dog into her home. that.
News in November 2021 of her potentially having another dog concerned PETA, given her “animal track record” – with several of her pets dead over the years recently.
Beneath the cute snap of her new pet chihuahua, many fans seem to reiterate the animal charity’s past anxieties, posting some concerned comments.
“Just keep it safe and remember it’s a dog not a toy,” one concerned animal lover wrote to the star Wednesday.
“Omg….you should be banned from raising more pets…you don’t exactly have a good track record,” another claimed, with a third adding: “Why is rspca doing nothing about numbers the animals she passed?”
One Instagram user added: “You can’t take care of the animals you already love.”
Among the criticism and concerned comments, many have flocked to the newest member of the Price family, with one exclaiming: “I have 6 chihuahuas. One of them is named Pepi but I nicknamed Captain lol… Take care of your little Captain, he’s a beauty.”
Over the years, Katie has had a number of unfortunate and tragic experiences with pet ownership.
Pup Rolo, a gift for eldest daughter Princess Andre, passed away in 2020, while her Alsatian, Sparkle, was running on her way to her house and was run over by a car.

In 2018, another family dog was killed, after a delivery driver drove past Queenie’s car outside the star’s property.
Last year, as Katie prepared to welcome another dog, named Okra, into her home to join her guard dog Blade and chihuahua Buddy, animal charity PETA released a concerned statement.
PETA director, Elisa Allen, told us in November 2021: “Given her track record with animals, some of them died in her ‘care’, which would be invaluable. responsible and reckless if Katie is allowed to buy another one.”
She continued: “And any breeder willing to sell to her is clearly putting profit above the welfare of the animals.”
In an additional comment, Ms Allen said: “Katie’s irresponsibility is costing great individuals their lives, so PETA urges her – and anyone else not to be able to. give animals proper care – fill their homes with cuddly toys instead.”
Over the years, Katie has explained how her love of animals has helped her fight depression and other mental health issues.

At Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, the star explained how her beloved horses have helped her recover from her most recent struggles.
“You can have a really bad day and then you can go to the barn and just shut down. I suppose it’s like when people go to the gym and stuff, for me around those things. the horse, I just love it,” she confessed on the Channel 4 show.
“I knew I was better because I went back to wanting to be the horse and back to it. It’s sad because there was a time when I didn’t do anything, I didn’t have the mental energy.”
