KATIE Price will not face further action over her car crash after “disappointed” police said they could not appeal her lenient sentence.
The star, 43, was told she “could have killed someone” after taking drugs and drinking alcohol.
Price – who was under a sixth road ban at the time – flipped his BMW X5 after an all-night turn.
She pleaded guilty to drunk driving and unqualified and uninsured driving.
But she was Sentencing 16 weeks suspended prison plus community service sentencing last month because she was in rehab.
The angry Sussex police chief wanted to appeal the sentence, saying Price was “very lucky not to have to spend Christmas behind bars”.
But last night, after a review, they admitted there was “no legal basis to launch an appeal”.
A force spokesman added: “This is disappointing.”
The price is almost double the legal limit for drinking and testing positive for cocaine following the 6am crash in Partridge Green, West Sussex.

Meanwhile, in an article on social media yesterday, Price accused Peter Andre’s ex-wife Emily, 32 years old, about “using my kids to make money on photo sessions.”
