Katie Price says her arm is ‘swollen’ and ‘hurts’ after tattoo

Katie Price sparked concern after her new tattoo got wet while on holiday in Thailand.

The former glamor model, 43, was told not to go swimming after recently getting inked while sharing another snipper from her getaway.

In her latest YouTube video, Katie shared more footage from her vacation with fiancé Carl Woods.

While there, she spent hours painfully tattooing to create a half sleeve design on each arm.

One arm is covered in flowers – inspired by her mother Amy – and the other features a unicorn, perhaps inspired by her lifelong love of horses.

As her latest video began, she sat to inspect her new ink and explained that her arm felt pretty sore — and it looked pretty swollen, too.

“Welcome back to Thailand,” she says.

“Well today is going to be a fantastic day. Why? Because we’re going to a place called Piggy Island.

“Apparently it’s amazing, you just get random pigs walking around, we get to go on a boat, basically the whole trip takes five hours.

“There’s just one problem, since I got my tattoo done yesterday, my arm is a little swollen.”

Katie holds up her arms to show the difference and it has emerged that the video was taken before the second sleeve was added to her.

Her right arm looks bigger than the left one and also looks a little red.

“It hurts so much,” she says. “Even if I return to Piggy Island in the day for more torture from needles and tattoos.”

Katie shows off the results of her biggest breast reduction yet in a tiny string bikini and is delighted when she arrives on the island to visit the animals.

She even managed to get up close with some piglets to pet one and ran away when another pig jumped out of a bathtub and came towards her.

But people were concerned that Katie might get her new tattoo wet.

One wrote in the comments: “Katie you know not to get your brand new tattoo wet! So no swimming or sweating of any kind and no sun! Not until everything has healed. It affects the healing process and that affects how the tattoo will look when it’s fully healed.”

Another told her: “The tattoo looks amazing! I hope you wear tons of sunscreen on the beach!”

Katie explained the meaning behind her new ink in a previous video.

The mother-of-five said: “I asked my mum what her favorite flowers are because I was thinking of what to cover here.

“She likes daffodils, lilies, hyacinths.”

And while getting inked, she said, “It’s torture, but it’s my fault for all the heartache I caused my mother.”

She was determined to continue her vacation

She also wrote in the video’s caption, “I wanted to get my mom’s favorite flowers on my forearm so she can take me everywhere!

“I could never ask for a better mom and I’m so lucky to have her in my life.”

The new ink covered up a tribute tattoo she previously got for her children and fiancé.

She used to have her and Carl’s names, her nickname for her “Priceywoods,” and her children’s initials hanging from a charm bracelet.
