KATIE Price’s daughter, Princess, said she couldn’t wait to move back to her mother’s Mucky Mansion after admitting it was a “dark house”.
14-year-old boy stuck in re-education in episode two of new Channel 4 series and admitted her Mom’s new optimistic attitude convinced her to try again.
As they gave the Princess’s room a new life, Katie said: “This room will be for the Princess.
“I don’t want to make it too girly… The princess doesn’t want to stay here.
“We all have memories of the house so I wanted to recreate everything and not have everything be the same.”
And at first, Princess said: “I really didn’t like this house in the first place.
“It was a dark house. There are just so many bad memories in there. “
Her mother replied, “There’s a lot of heartbreak, that’s not good.”
Revealing how much she disliked the place, Princess continued: “I don’t even want to walk in the driveway.
“My mother’s head was in a bad place before but now her head is in a good place, it’s so much better. I’m so excited. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here to be honest.”
At the end of episode three on All4, Katie revealed her efforts with a surprised Princess.
Her daughter stated, “I really like my room. I’m really impressed with how it turned out.”
Katie also gave fans a glimpse of her new kitchen and garden, and the amazing transformation.
The new kitchen features white and dark gray cabinets with white counters and stainless steel fittings.
Guaranteed to celebrate Katie’s love of pink, this space features four chesterfield-inspired pastel pink chairs and a glamorous silver-legged dining table.
In tribute to the past and present, Katie chose to hang the artwork her children have made over the years on a wooden panel to give it a more family feel.
The open plan kitchen and living room are cozy like never before with a brick fireplace that declares and is a far cry from searched that space a year ago.
The new garden room features floor-to-ceiling wood-framed windows, forest green velvet chairs and orange sofas.
The room has patterned wallpaper and green walls embellished with bamboo furniture.
The simple and dull bedroom of the youngest son Jett has been given a new life and transformed into a strange forest paradise.
The seven-year-old’s name lights up the wall with orange neon lights, while his raised bed makes the center stage with giant leaves reaching out to the top.
Katie makes good use of her creativity glued cuddly animals to the wall, while at the far end a string ran across the ceiling and more animals were hammered into crates.
She and her eldest son Harvey Buy fake grass to use on the walls and a canopy of foliage to make the headboard.
Using Jurassic Park as her inspiration, she said: “Jett loves the outdoors. I wanted it to be like a cave for him.”
“Jett is a very lucky boy. He’s going to look amazing. I love a garden center, I’m sure I’ll get old.”
The young man loves his new-looked room, telling his mother that “everything” is his favorite thing.
