Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have finally settled their divorce after a bitter battle.

While the former American Idol winner went away with the lion’s share of the fortune, LA Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon signed off on terms that still give Brandon a well-deserved cash payout, according to the court. TMZ.

The settlement saw Kelly, 39, given primary custody of the couple’s two children, River Rose, seven, and Remington, five.

Brandon, 45, will have the youth players one weekend during this time by agreement.

The singer also kept the couple’s Montana ranch, but Brandon was allowed to stay there until June 1, as long as he paid $12.5k in monthly rent.

It is reported that the settlement will have to be reevaluated if Brandon leaves Montana.

He initially challenged Kelly’s start, but the judge confirmed its validity, meaning the singer’s $20 million-a-year salary is reportedly still entirely hers. that.

Brandon’s settlement is said to have him receive $115k per month in spousal support through January 2024.

He will also receive $45.6k per month in child support to ensure the kids live comfortably during their stay with him.

As well as these monthly payments, Brandon is expected to be paid $1.3 million as part of the settlement.

The decision follows Kelly’s impressive performance at the ACM Awards on Monday, where she performed I Will Always Love You in tribute to ceremony host Dolly Parton.

Kelly was granted single status by a judge in September and removed Brandon’s surname from Kelly’s legal name – she is now known as Kelly Brianne after her middle name.

She will still be known as Kelly Clarkson during her professional life even though she has legally dropped her last name.

She has been in showbiz for 20 years since her great success after winning the singing competition.

She has released nine studio albums since winning American Idol in 2007.

Since then, Kelly has also gone on to hit several seasons ahead of The Kelly Clarkson Show, her US talk show.

Last year, it was announced that the show would replace The Ellen DeGeneres as NBC’s main daytime talk show.
