Amid that wave of criticism, Kepa now has the backing of his girlfriend Andrea Martinez, who won the crown of Miss Universe Spain 2020.

His manager Tuchel has also spoken out in defense of the keeper, insisting that any fault in Chelsea’s defeat should be blamed on him, not Kepa.
