Legendary Kerry GAA player Colm Cooper and his wife Céitilís have welcomed a new baby boy.
olm and Céitlís, married for more than a year, have named their newcomer Conall.
After the birth of Conall, many congratulatory messages were sent on social networks.
Castleislands Desmond GAA said: “Congratulations to Céitílís & Colm Cooper on the birth of baby Conall from all in Castleisland Desmond’s GAA Club.”
Adam Moynihan, host of The Kerry Football Podcast was among the first to send warm congratulations to the couple.
“Congratulations to Colm Cooper and his wife Céitílís on the birth of their son, Conall,” the sports reporter wrote.

Meanwhile, the East Kerry GAA tweeted: “Congratulations to Ceítilís and Colm Cooper on the birth of baby Conall.”
Dr Crokes, who with ‘Gooch’ won an all-Irish title, five Munster titles and seven Kerry club titles, said: “Congratulations to Céitílís and Colm Cooper on the birth of baby Conall.”
The soccer star, known as ‘Gooch’ married to Céitlís, who works as a primary school teacher, was surrounded by family and friends in a lavish ceremony at Dingle’s Skellig hotel in September 12 year 2021.
Céitilís was with Cooper for most of his Gaelic football career.
The happy couple announced their engagement in November 2020 to the delight of their loved ones.
Cooper has won five Sam Maguires titles and nine Munster football titles with the Kingdom, in addition to eight All-Stars over the course of an extraordinary career.
