Kerry IFA officers meet after investigation into executive members

Officials from the Kerry Irish Farmers’ Association branch have been invited to a meeting on Friday 7th October in Castleisland to discuss the controversy that has engulfed the branch since late summer.

The Kerryman revealed in August that branch chairman Kenny Jones had filed a complaint against at least two members of the Kerry IFA County Executive: John Joe Mac Gearailt, who recently resigned as Kerry’s vice chairman; and Michael O’Dowd, County Dairy Chairman. This newspaper understands the meeting has been called for tomorrow night as Gerard Dollard has completed an independent investigation into the matter.
