Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcome second child born to surrogate mother

Khloe Kardashian and her former partner Tristan Thompson have reportedly welcomed their second child via surrogate.

The 39-year-old reality star already shares daughter True, four, with the 31-year-old NBA player, although she previously opened up about her potential struggles with conceiving another child.

The couple’s new addition to the family is a boy, although a name has not yet been released, according to US media persons.

After announcing they were expecting the child, Kardashian said she was “incredibly grateful.”

A representative told the PA news agency: “Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.

“We would like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

Thompson and Kardashian officially ended their relationship in January after it was revealed the basketball star had fathered a child with another woman.

It is understood they remain separated barring co-parenting issues and their second child was conceived through a surrogate before the revelations were made public.
