Khloe Kardashian was mocked by fans after complaining of a “busy week” for booking a spray tan and dinner at Nobu.
In a resurfaced video from her reality series, the Good American founder, 37, spoke to Scott Disick, 38, about her worries about her “frantic” plans, in scenes that echoed sister Kim’s numb comments, such as “nobody want to work these days”.
In the clip, a stressed-out Khloe told Scott, “I’m having a busy week,” to which he raised an eyebrow and replied, “And you?”
The television personality, who details her manic schedule, reeled off her to-do list as she said: “Thursday, Nobu. Vegas Friday. Then I have a spray tan at 8:45.”
Scott poked fun at her as he quipped, “Oh my god! Things fill up fast.”
Viewers took to Reddit, where they praised Scott for bringing Khloe a dose of reality about what a privileged life she leads.
One user titled the thread “Making Kim proud” — a nod to her controversial comments earlier this month.
One viewer replied, “I wouldn’t call spray tan and dinner a busy week.” While another added, “It gives the same energy as it did when Kim said she got a free membership and Scott said, “Thank goodness, you could never have afforded it. I like how he humiliates her.”
“He’s how most of us would react to her if we were thrust into this world. We wouldn’t be mean or cruel but we do have some good comments like this,” typed another fan of the show.
Another wrote: “He’s an ass in a lot of ways but this man has good throwbacks. Sarcastic but not too much, he always gets it right and he makes fun of them with them which is even better.”
Earlier this month, Kim faced backlash for preaching, “I have the best advice for women in business. Get your damn ass up and work.”
she said diversity : “It seems like nobody wants to work these days,” before adding: “You have to surround yourself with people who want to work. Create a good work environment where everyone loves what they do because you have a life.
“No toxic work environments and come and do the work.”
The video was not well received by fans, with many taking to social media to attack the privileged star.
One wrote: “Yes. I could get up and work more if I had nannies, drivers, cooks, personal trainers and personal assistants to do all my other work.”
Another added: “What most successful people don’t realize is that success is just as much luck and circumstance as hard work.
“Just because you’ve worked hard (and I’m not denying the Kardashians have) doesn’t mean you’ll be successful. ‘I worked hard and got rich’ is not a helpful narrative.”
