Kid Rock just got excited after he was photographed drinking a Bud Light at a Nashville bar.
The musician was spotted sipping the drink while attending a show hosted by country singer Colt Ford on Thursday.
Many have found Rock’s drink choices a little hypocritical since he known to have shot up a crate of the drink back in April to protest the beer company sending a single promotional can to trans TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
It’s a big difference from months ago, when Rock and others were so excited to boycott the brand because they thought a trans person could drink their beer of choice, too.
According to the Associated Press, the boycott was so successful that Anheuser-Busch laid off hundreds of workers after months of a sales slump at Bud Light.
Bud Light also faced backlash from Mulvaney’s supporters and LGBTQ+ rights groups, who felt the beer brand wasn’t doing enough to support it in the wake of the controversy.
Mulvaney shared later that she felt let down by Bud Light and in the course of the partnership “was subjected to more bullying and transphobia than I could ever have imagined.”

Considering Rock previously declared, “Shit bud light. And fuck Anheuser-Busch” before he shoots up cases of beer, many people might think his Thursday drink choices hypocritical.
And they would be right, but that’s not all Bud Light is still sold at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘n’ Roll Steakhouse in Nashville.
Of course, Twitter users had thoughts.
Of course, some people had to mention the dreaded – to conservatives anyway – “W” word.
Others wondered what it all meant.
